Membership Terms
Our membership currently operates on a calendar year basis. A single-year membership (2026 only) is valid until December 31, 2026, regardless of when it is purchased. A multi-year membership (2026–2028) is valid until December 31, 2028. Yes. Starting in January 2026, we will transition to an anniversary cycle. This means that your membership will be active for a full year from the date you join.
This change ensures that every member receives a full 12 months of benefits, no matter when they join. What does this mean for new and returning members now? No. Membership dues are non-refundable. Once payment has been processed, we're unable to issue refunds, even if you choose to cancel your membership before the term ends. If your membership lapses, access to member-only resources, discounts, and events will pause until your renewal is processed. You can renew at any time to restore your benefits and reconnect with the network. Members receive renewal reminder emails as their membership term approaches its end date. Each message includes a secure link to complete your renewal online and keep your benefits active without interruption. Members can also log in to their account at any time through the member platform to check the status of their membership, review renewal details, and renew online if needed. Members receive regular policy and funding updates, invitations to live and on-demand learning opportunities, access to the online member community and learning center, discounts and scholarships for trainings, priority access to technical support, and savings on HomeKeeper services. You'll also gain visibility through a member badge and contribute to strengthening lasting affordability in housing nationwide. Stay connected through our newsletters, webinars, Monthly Network Calls, and member briefings to learn from peers and field leaders across the network. Log in to the member platform to access on-demand trainings, exclusive member resources, training discounts, and your membership account information. Members can also connect and collaborate through the Online Community, where you can share updates, ask questions, and build relationships across the field. Take advantage of the searchable Member Directory, Jobs Board, and Resource Library designed to support your organization's work and growth. We encourage members to proudly display their Member Badge as a sign of their commitment to lasting affordability and shared equity housing. Access & Networking
Members receive invitations to all network calls, webinars, and member briefings directly by email. You can also sign in to the member platform to access member-only resources, including on-demand recordings, training discounts, member discussion forums, and the searchable directory. Be sure to check the Monthly Connect for upcoming funding opportunities, events, and network news. Members connect through Monthly Network Calls, live webinars, and other events that bring together peers, field leaders, and emerging voices. Members also have access to the Online Community platform, where they can connect with fellow members, ask questions, share resources, and continue conversations between events. Yes. All Standard and Champion memberships include a listing in the private member directory, making it easy for members to connect, collaborate, and share resources across the network. Champion Members also receive featured placement on the Grounded Solutions Network website, positioning their organization as a leader in the shared equity and lasting affordability movement. Organizations looking for additional visibility and recognition are encouraged to upgrade to a Champion Membership. You can update your member profile by logging into the member platform using your username and password. From your account dashboard, you can update your contact information, areas of interest, organizational details, staff members, and communication preferences.
